The Ministry of Economics, Labor and Housing of the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg has approved the innovation vouchers A & B for the practical implementation of resistance research. We used the money to carry out resistance analysis in the greenhouse, with the help of which we develop solutions for agricultural practice and advice to farmers on herbicide resistance.

Specifically, the money flows into the testing of redroot, wind grass, ryegrass and brome grass collected in the context of our nationwide monitoring in the summer of 2019. The aim is to work out the large number of different resistance profiles in order to assess the current resistance situation. The resistance test is carried out indirectly, i.e. by applying various herbicides in the greenhouse and is carried out by PlantaLyt GmbH in Hanover.
